A thin upright rod and a single crossbar hold sweeping curves of fine strung thread. Each web casts a faint shadow on the pale gray ground, giving the piece quiet depth.
About the piece
Thread and Shadow is wall art by Bassem in light gray, bronze and charcoal: curved webs of fine thread strung on a slim rod and crossbar, suited to an office, a hallway or a bedroom. Design no. BA-0242.
About this canvas
The work is printed on matte canvas and stretched around a 0.75 in deep wood frame. The edges are mirrored, so none of the image is lost around the sides, and the hanging hardware is already attached. Each canvas is made when you order it.
